Someone New was shortlisted for Choice Music Prize Irish Song of the Year 2015. Voting for the award is open until February 28. The results will be announced at a live event on March 3rd.

Hozier went Platinum in the US on February 1 in first batch of certifications to include streaming.
BMI London Awards are for songwriters of the most-performed songs on U.S. radio and television. Hozier won a BMI 2015 London Pop Award Song for Take Me To Church. The event was held on October 19, 2015 while Hozier was on tour on the west coast of the USA. He picked up his award while in London on January 28 and is pictured here with publisher Johnny Lappin from The Evolving Music Co. and manager Caroline Downey.

Gigs
Hozier was named one of 8 Must-See Gigs in Europe with shouts out to both Mia and Alana.
Since the last instalment of In A Week, Hozier has played Amsterdam, Brussels, three nights in London, Birmingham, Portsmouth, Cardiff and Manchester.
As a tribute to David Bowie, Hozier has added Young Americans to his set. He launched the cover on the second night playing in Brixton, the birthplace of David Bowie.
The tour takes a 12-day break and resumes in Berlin on 19 February, 2016, the 8th-last headlining gig. Hozier’s tour wraps on 3 March in Istanbul, Turkey after two-years on the road.

Saint Sister
Saint Sister had a busy few weeks. They celebrated a birthday, recorded videos for RTE, and opened for Spies in Cork. They also announced that Saint Sister will be in Paris February 26 for Festival A Nous Paris Fireworks. And to round out the week, Saint Sister featured in Saturday’s episode of Other Voices.
