As part of Hozier’s #FaceUpToDomesticViolence campaign, the new video for Cherry Wine was released on Valentine’s Day. The video starring Oscar and Golden Globe nominated Saoirse Ronan and Vikings star Moe Dunford looks at the complex nature of love in an abusive relationship. It is directed by Emmy-winning Irish director Dearbhla Walsh and was shot in August 2015.
Hozier will donate proceeds from the iTunes download of the Cherry Wine single to support 22 anti-domestic abuse charities around the world.
