Behind the Scenes
Valentine’s Day
Hozier launched the new video for Cherry Wine on Valentine’s Day as part of his #FaceUpToDomesticViolence campaign.
Alana’s new Aeropress set her heart aflutter. (Or maybe it was too much caffeine?)
Rachael was home in Nashville with her Valentine.
Lorraine was coming up roses on Valentine’s Day.
Mia found love in the everyday.
Friends
Little Green Cars
Stevie Appleby has been producing a lot of art these days and posting snaps of his fantastic sketches and canvasses to his Twitter and Instagram.
The band announced their appearance on May 23 at DOT TO DOT Festival in Bristol and were in rehearsals last week.
Saint Sister
Morgan MacIntyre and Gemma Doherty played the IMRO Venue Awards and got high praise for their performance from IMRO, Whelan’s and Hot Press.

Zaska
Fans of Hozier’s early work will know Zaska. He released new music last week (get your free download of this track here), and if you look closely in the video, you’ll see Karen Cowley of Wyvern Lingo amongst the studio spectators. Karen and Hozier sang together with Max Zaska’s jazz-funk ensemble in 2012 and 2013.
Jess Kavanagh
Jess and Hozier go way back. She provided backing vocals at his performances in the summer of 2013 and on his first US dates in 2014. She has supported a long list of talented artists and has a few projects that are keeping her busy, including Barq. But it was this new video from Dublin rapper Lethal Dialect that made us swoon over her voice all over again (and we’re not alone.)
Ruby Amanfu
Ruby Amanfu was a backing vocalist in the autumn of 2014 on the Hozier tour. She’s also sung with Jack White and Alabama Shakes lead, Brittany Howard and is a friend of Rachael and the band. She was just announced for this year’s Newport Folk Fest lineup.
