Wyvern Lingo

ABOUT: Karen Cowley, Saoirse Duane and Caoimhe Barry are Wyvern Lingo. Karen sang with Hozier in Trinity Orchestra as well as sharing lead vocals with him in Zaska. She duetted with Hozier on the track In A Week on his debut album. Both Karen and Caoimhe have provided backing vocals on tour with Hozier over the years. Saoirse’s sister Queeva played keyboard in Hozier’s touring band in 2014. Wyvern Lingo is also signed to Rubyworks (same as Hozier) and has supported Hozier live several times, most recently on his 2016 UK tour.

May 26: Wyvern Lingo played their first festival of the season at Live on Air Music Festival, Enniscrone, Co. Dec 13: Wyvern Lingo sang Used at the Ruby Sessions and you could hear a pin drop. Dec 10: Wyvern Lingo busked outside in Dublin to raise awareness and funds for Dublin Simon Community, a homeless charity. Dec 9: Wyvern Lingo covered Joni Mitchell’s River at TodayFM and it’s gorgeous. Nov 23: Wyvern Lingo were in RTÉ Studio 8 with Tracy Clifford for a chat and performing Letter to Willow and their cover of Brandy and Monica’s The Boy Is MineOct 21: Wyvern Lingo released their latest video for Used, a song from their 2014 Widow Knows EP it is produced by Christian Tierney. The trio is touring Ireland from November 24 to December 3, after which they will be taking time off to write and record their debut album.
