Sept 14: Hozier’s disguise was foiled! (A brilliant story.)
The other day I was doing touristy things around Dublin and popped into the very lovely folks at Jameson who (seeing through my disguise as a children's birthday-party clown) not only surprised me with a buidéal of the lovely stuff with my name on it, but also gifted me an umbrella, as I was gonna be caught in the rain and, shucks I just wanted to say thank you loads and much love!
Sept 7: Hozier stopped into RTÉ 2FM today to have a chat with Eoghan McDermott about the Amnesty International – Sofar Sounds Give a Home campaign.

Aug 2: Amnesty International and Sofar Sounds have teamed up for the “Give A Home” campaign to raise awareness and funds to help refugees. The campaign has partnered with musicians who will perform intimate sets in homes around the world on September 20, and Hozier is on the lineup for the Dublin event. Participating musicians include Ed Sheeran, Jack Garratt, KT Tunstall, Oh Wonder, and The National.
According to the release, Hozier had this to say about his involvement, “What makes Sofar special to me is that it can take place anywhere hospitality cares to rear its head. There’s something wonderful about sharing a live music experience in the warmth and closeness of someone’s home, which was my experience with Sofar. I’m thrilled to be taking part in the Give a Home gigs, a global act of welcome which embodies the hospitable spirit of Sofar with the important work of Amnesty International.”
There is a competition to win tickets to each of the cities hosting events, including Dubin. Enter by September 10. Find your city here. Find out more about Amnesty International’s I Welcome campaign and lend your support.
